Black Voters

This presidential campaign, more candidates (i.e. Warren, Bloomberg, and *Booker) have appealed to Black voters in terms of economic development and economic justice. Wonderful! I think Black voters will be regarded less as subjects than as citizens when backed by Black dollars.

* No longer a candidate.

Make your presence felt on your own terms. I now take my business cards with me whenever I'm in public, even the laundromat. Create a portfolio of your work or area of expertise on Linkedin and the Web. Be sought.

As a professional athlete, Young's donation speaks volumes for two reasons: It's a reminder of the country's healthcare costs -- the highest in the world -- and that families are struggling with medical debt.

Boeing has yet to regain my trust -- the faulty MCAS software, inadequate pilot training, the delay in apologizing to the victims. Now there's the possibility of exposed fuel panels? Imagine lightening strike an exposed fuel tank with the immense force of air thousands of feet (meters) in the sky. No! I'll pay a few extra dollars for an Airbus.

Wow. Maybe there's something to my mother opening all the windows and doors in the house, weather permitting. It's a little cold this time a year, but a few plants in my apartment and longer moments outdoors won't hurt.
