I commend Professor Berk and the dozens of other academicians who stood up to corporate welfare on behalf of working people. Said Anat R. Admati: "This bill is sad commentary on the financialization of our economy." Wow. What a way to put it. At the time, I contacted some dozen small businesses about a major news outlet offering free listings to those selling gift cards. I'll take the word of Jonathan Parker (MIT): Major corporations have the resource of bankruptcy to stay afloat.

I'm following up on my initial email to you on January 5. The County Election Office misrepresented dozens of votes for an independent and a Green Party candidate in the November election.

I'm a certified poll watcher for the 2020 General Election here in Dauphin County. In December, I requested some of the write-in results from the Election Office. There are three known discrepancies I request that the Office correct. They are as follows:
DISCREPANCY 1 President/Vice President Howie Hawkins, a Green Party candidate, is listed as "Howard" Hawkins in "Howard Hawkins/Angela Walker." If necessary, I'll provide you a copy of my own ballot for comparison. DISCREPANCY 2 President Howie Hawkins is again listed as "Howard" Hawkins. As an affiliate of the county Green Party, I have yet to confirm any voters in the area who wrote him in as Howard. ![]()
