The lack of enforcement aside, I like that the Democrats forbid stock buybacks and dividend payouts under the CARES Act. Hopefully, they reserve oversight to renew those provisions another 12 months. However, they dropped the ball by not mandating equity for the Treasury in exchange for the public dollar to large corporations and vital, private sectors.
