Rest In Peace, Kevin Zeese. Today I learned about his death from a tribute in the Black Agenda Report. Only one Zeese came to mind -- the press secretary for the Howie Hawkins campaign. I had reached out to that Zeese twice last month. The first time, I called him and asked for the contact info to a different unit of the campaign. The second time, I CC'd him my news pitch to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette about the Green Party nomination ("Howie Hawkins' campaign for 5%"). Unfortunately, that Zeese was the Zeese reported dead as of Sept. 6. Until today, I didn't know of Zeese's activism. I, however, learned that he was co-editor of PopularResistance.org, with which I was familiar -- if only for the previous version of its iconic logo. Until I voted in the Green Party primary this year, I had yet to participate in electoral politics in over 10 years. As a supporter of the Howie Hawkins campaign, my thoughts are with Zeese, his loved ones, and his legacy. He was 64. Jubalyn ExWilliams lives in Pennsylvania (United States). The professor couldn't go on sightings, but he was able to identify birds by ear. One of my favorite references in the Society's feature articles is the aural guide "Birds in This Story."
Keep it up!
