I never voted in a primary, and I haven't voted in an election in more than 10 years. That changed this year. I went door-to-door during the lockdown, collecting dozens of signatures in the heat of summer. I called dozens of Greens in my area to sign the petitions as well, but to no avail. I declared my support for the Howie campaign in The Washington Post, while my state fought to keep the ticket off the ballot. And I ignored national calls to vote against one objectionable candidate in favor of his untrustworthy rival. Howie and Angela, I wrote y'all in from Harrisburg, Pa. on Election Day. Thank you for a presidential campaign I could vote for.
