The circumstance among "millennials" I think gave rise to the "sharing economy"

I believe the lack of economic mobility gave rise to the "sharing" economy. This week I came across a site where subscribers can rent trendy clothes every month. Jeremy Rifkin's The Zero Marginal Cost Society introduced me to the range of services being communalized commercially.
